  • 10 Viennese-Style Brioche Breads
  • 130 g
  • 10 lettuce leaves
  • 2 red onions
  • 20 tomato slices
  • 1 kg beef
  • Piri-piri sauce

Marinade for the beef : 

  • 30 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 10 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 10 teaspoons of honey
  • 5 teaspoons of black pepper
  • 5 teaspoons of smoked paprika
  • 10 crushed garlic cloves

  • Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add the pieces of beef, mix well to coat.
  • Leave to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  • Heat a frying pan over high heat with a drizzle of oil. Brown the pieces of beef for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
  • Leave to rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.
  • Slice the brioche bread lengthways.
  • Toast it lightly in a hot frying pan, until it is browned and crispy.
  • Wash and chop the lettuce. Slice the tomatoes and onions into thin strips.
  • Spread a thin layer of piri-piri sauce over the base of the bread. Add a layer of lettuce, followed by slices of tomatoes.
  • Add the sliced beef. Finish with the onion.
